Daisy is the exact image of her mom!
Happy First Birthday Daisy!!!
Annie’s pups from 2012 are officially one year old today!
Happy 1st Birthday and also Happy Mother’s Day Annie.
Daisy’s big sister is helping hold this pose.
Happy First Birthday Cooper!
This is Mickey before the party……………
“He is absolutely the best dog ever! We tried to get a picture of Mickey with his birthday cupcake, but wound up with a picture of Madison touching cupcakes and a blurry shot of me trying to keep mickey from slipping off his chair as he is eating a delicious cupcake. Pure calamity! The good news is he was delighted to hear us sing happy birthday to him, thrilled to have a seat at the table and elated to get at whole cupcake.”
Happy First Birthday Mickey!
Happy First Birthday Foster!
Birthday Boy Foster took a little swim before his party!
Happy First Birthday Toby Two Socks! Love your hat!

Annie’s pups are starting to eat Blue Buffalo puppy chow
with their cereal and cottage cheese.
Their teeth are so sharp that Annie is saying “that hurts”.
They LOVE the food and are finishing every bit of it.
We give the pups lots of toys and soft cardboard items to chew on.
They need to chew and it feels good on their new teeth that are still coming in.
This little one fell asleep after lunch on that big rope toy.
Total relaxation!

Jeannie’s puppies are loving their new food experience!
They are eating Gerber baby cereal and cottage cheese just like Annie’s puppies.
There’s not an empty spot at this dish!
The cereal will get them slowly ready for puppy food
and also give their mom a little rest.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm that was GREAT!!!!
Hey there! We are moving to our new place today!
This whelping box is too small and we need room to play.
The puppies are moving to a new part of the house with easy access to the outside.
Love this face!
Lily gives her little brother Mr. Blue a kiss.
She is going to be the official “babysitter”
for all of Jeannie’s 8 puppies and she can’t wait!

Mr. T loves his new food!
Ms. Pink and Mr. T getting started.
The pups are demanding so much of Annie that we are starting to wean them.
This yummy mixture is Gerber baby cereal and cottage cheese.
They LOVE it!
Mr. Blue gets right into his food!
They all LOVED their new food! Annie will still feed them also.
Good night. Sweet dreams.
The pups have moved to our kitchen to a very large area.
There is an open crate full of soft towels for a nap
and lots of room to run around in.
They are near us and get used to all the sounds of our house.
They can see us and the adult Labradors.

Four of Annie’s pups climbed out of their whelping box yesterday,
so we brought them outside on the deck to get some fresh air.
Sammy, Kayla and Annie are blocking the way off the deck, so there was no big concern.
Jazz, our Pug is very curious about the pups and wants one for herself.
Can you find all nine pups? Hint: two are “double-decker”.
They are really growing!
That is a lot of puppy in the pile up now.
We’ve reached a new style of drinking!
Annie can not get in fast enough and they are standing up to drink
as soon as she enters their whelping box.

All of Jeannie’s and Annie’s pups are 3 weeks old now and things are changing FAST!
Their eyes are open and they are walking, running and climbing out of their whelping boxes.
At the end of next week there might be a change in scenery for them
when they move out of their whelping boxes and into their “Inside Play Area”.
Annie is more relaxed now and actually leaves the pups to come and be with us.
Ms. Pink and Ms. White are giving kisses to Mike.
After they are 4 or 4 1/2 weeks old we will start them eating baby cereal to get them weaned from their moms. Because another change will be happening for them soon enough—Teeth! And the moms don’t really want those sharp little teeth biting on them.
We are having visitors now and the families are able to see the pups up close.
No one will be choosing their puppy for a few weeks yet.
