Annie’s Pups at Two Weeks

by Margaret on April 22, 2013

Annie’s pups have their colored necklaces!

Now we can watch everyone’s progress.

The two boys are Mr. Blue and Mr. T(turquoise)

Girls are Ms. Pink, Ms. Red, Ms. Orange, Ms. Purple,

Ms. Green, Ms. Aqua, and Ms. Yellow

Hello There! Now your world will start to open up also!

Get ready for some fun little one!

Mr. T (turquoise) dives right into the middle of the pile! He has the right idea.

Ms. Green and Ms. Purple are snuggling next to him.

This little girl was the first one to start walking.

Now the entire litter is zigging and zagging around!

  This was taken this morning.

Their eyes are ALL starting to open and they are all moving around!

This afternoon they were all squeaking and barking and moving!

Lots of exciting things are happening!

Jeannie’s puppies now have their colored necklaces.

We can tell who are boys and who are girls.

We can also see how each puppy is progressing

and how their personalities are beginning to show.

The boys!

Hello there! Can you see the eyes opening?

Four boys to be watching now.

The girls are all in pastel colors. They will be easy to notice!

Mason Photos From Home

by Margaret on April 19, 2013

Mason is happy running around his yard.

Francie Pants is his mom and Gypsy is his little sister.

King Mason, just catching some sun.

Now this looks familiar on a couch! Look how he holds his front feet!

This was Mason at six months of age in February.

He is the former Mr. Green. Now he is Mason the Boss.

Mason and his dad.

Looks like he fell asleep on one of his two favorite people.

Jeannie’s Pups April 16, 2013

by Margaret on April 16, 2013

Jeannie has to sit up to feed her pups now.

They are growing and are very demanding.

Jeannie’s pups are a week and a half old.

Look at that shine! Must be mom’s high octane milk!

Big sister Lily gave the pups one of her toys.

We don’t expect the pups to fit in this basket for very long.

Compare how tiny this puppy is in the middle of Jeannie’s dog bed.

Look at the size of the shoes compared to the pup.

Jeannie takes a break by herself on her dog bed.

She will stay right next to the whelping box.

She can take little breaks from them, knowing they are well fed and safe.

Happy First Week!

by Margaret on April 14, 2013

One week today!

Notice how dark the little noses and feet are getting?

Annie is looking great after having nine puppies last weekend.

Grandma Kayla climbed into the whelping box to kiss all her grandbabies.

Kayla has been patient, but now she is getting a little pushy.

Annie made her get out.

Annie was not ready for Kayla to get involved.

Jeannie Pups Day 6

by Margaret on April 11, 2013

Look at that face!

Jeannie’s pups fit in the basket right now, but they might not next week!

Collage of Jeannie and her pups.

Jeannie gets a little nap while her puppies sleep.

You can see they are getting fat and we like that.

Annie Puppy Faces

by Margaret on April 11, 2013

Pink features are turning slightly darker.

Can you see the foot pads changing?

They all had lunch and are conked out!

Annie bunched up the clean sheet 2 minutes after we put it in her whelping box.

The contrast is so beautiful with these yellow puppies and the dark rug.

Annie Pups Day 4

by Margaret on April 10, 2013

Puppies are gaining weight every day.

Puppies always do this! They start breaking into different patterns.

As soon as we changed their bed, Annie got back in to count,

clean and feed her babies.

Grandma Kayla and Aunt Francie give the puppies a Lab Report.

(We did it when Annie was outside).

Annie came back with a big smile.

Jeannie and Annie Puppies All Have Homes

by Margaret on April 9, 2013

Jeannie is so sweet!

She brought one of her favorite toys to give to her new puppies.

Puppies like to pile up on each other.

The pink noses and pink pads on their feet

will be getting darker everyday.

Jeannie’s pups are 2 days older than Annie’s. You can see every wrinkle!

They are developing their own system for eating.

Jeannie took a break to watch her pups while sitting on her own dog bed.

Jeannie took a short walk outside and then ran back to her pups.

New moms do not like to leave their pups for more than a few minutes.

Annie ran outside this morning and came right back also!

She does not want anyone in with her pups except her humans. She has barked at all of the other dogs and they understand they have to leave Annie’s pups alone for now.

Annie rushes back inside this morning.

She jumped back in with the pups and started feeding and cleaning.

Annie Has Her Pups! All Have Homes.

by Margaret on April 7, 2013

Annie D’Lola has 2 boys and 7 girls born April 7, 2013.

All pups have homes waiting for them.

We are amazed at the beautiful shades of all Annie’s puppies.

Two of the pups sleeping together.

Annie was doing a lot of panting while she was having her pups.

Annie delivered all her babies in her whelping box.
