We have been fortunate to have raised 11 puppies in our home

for the last 8 weeks.

It has been quite an adventure which we know we will be repeating.

We love all of our new families and know that

our puppies are going to make us proud!

Mr. Yellow is a Very Lucky Labrador!

The puppies started leaving early Friday and all of Saturday. Mr. Yellow got the first bath. He did not flinch when we rinsed his head and he totally enjoyed the big warm towels to dry him off!

Mr. Green got to snuggle with his mom, Francie while he was drying off from his bath.

Francie and Sammy were checking Mr. Green’s new mom. Sammy liked her hair.

Mr. Green’s very happy new family.

Ms. Pink is all wrapped up after her bath and Sammy and Gracie want to see her!

Ms. Pink goes through the dog toy box before she leaves.

Remember what we taught you and be the Best you can be!

We said “We’ll be seeing you” to our last puppy Sunday morning.

By that, we hope to see all of Kayla and Francie’s pups many times in the future!

We are keeping one of Francie’s daughters.

Her name is Gypsy Jet of A Family Farm.

Puppy World Wrestling Mania?

by Margaret on October 14, 2012

We put an empty swimming pool in with the puppies and sat back and watched the show.

They have wrestling matches, king of the pool and nap time in there.

We have not stopped laughing!

Everybody gets into the action!

They are still clumsy, so sometimes they land in and sometimes they land out.

Mr. Yellow and Mr. Green are evenly matched in the wrestling weight.

They were playing in and out of the pool all day.

Mr. Blue has found his “Perfect” Family! We are so happy for everyone.

 Mr. Blue is so happy!

Gracie Clementine approves her little brother’s new BIG brother!

Mr. Blue is also going to live with his big brother from one of Francie’s previous litters. We are pleased and proud when we have families with more than one of our A Family Farm Labradors.

Kayla’s Puppies Go To Our Vet

by Margaret on October 4, 2012

Kayla’s puppies were wild on the way to the vet, but very well behaved while they were all being examined. They stayed awake all the way home. This was a very busy day! All the puppies received their first puppy shot and a full examination.

“Please just watch the road.”

Mr. Yellow wanted to be in the front seat on the way to their check up.

Look at those choppers Ms. Pink!

Mr. Red is telling Mr. Green that he did not cry either.

Ms. Orange spread herself out on the floor after her shot.

Mr. Red wants a taste of that instrument!

Mr. Green was so brave AND so cute!

Mr. Red has his heart checked.

Mr. Blue you are one handsome little guy!

This is what happens at the end of the visit. Mr. Yellow on the right is REALLY relaxed!

We’re home! All six puppies ran up to the house!

Francie’s Puppies Go To Our Vet

by Margaret on October 4, 2012

Mr. Blue was so good while he was being weighed.

With 11 puppies going for their six-week check ups we decided to make two separate appointments. Francie has five puppies, so her puppies went in the morning. Kayla’s six puppies went in the afternoon.

Dr. Heidinger checked every puppy very carefully!

 Nice Teeth Mr. Green!

Ms. Orange wanted to taste that instrument.

It is always an experience that we LOVE!

Ms. Pink is getting her heart checked.

Ms. Dark Pink did not cry!

Both Pinks got comfortable in the middle of the floor.

Francie’s group was in a wild mood! They were very quiet in the car. As soon as they got into the office they were running around, chasing each other, snooping in the shelves, biting on the instruments as they were examined and then falling asleep in the middle of the floor.

Ms. Pink climbed inside the shelf!

The Pink girls fell asleep on the floor of the car.

Mr. Blue and Mr. Green cuddled on the way home.

Ms. Orange was the last one out of the car. She was asleep on the floor.

Puppies Dress Up!

by Margaret on October 2, 2012

It is tradition at A Family Farm to do a little dress up before you get too big!

We let the child in us come out while we find silly outfits.

Mr. Green looks so handsome!

Mr. Blue has a fun bandana.

Mr. Blue and Ms. Pink want a photo to save for when they grow up.

Sammy was checking for any extra costumes. She and Gracie had their eyes on one of our props. We had to make sure they did not help themselves.

Ms. Pink has a fun family!

Sammy was curious about Ms. Dark Pink’s mom and big sister.

Ms. Dark Pink with her big sister. What a belly!

Gracie Clementine wanted something too!

Francie figured if the kids are dressing up, so could she.

*******For more photos, check our Facebook page: *******

*******A Family Farm Labradors*******

There is a brand new photo album of MORE dress up photos!

We are able to put lots and lots of photos on there!

We Have Visitors!

by Margaret on September 24, 2012

Mr. Yellow wanted to see who this was!

Puppy Magnet!!!

Sammy was keeping an eye on visitors and puppies. Hard work.

Mr. Green may be small, but he can take care of himself.

After the fresh air, we all came in for lunch!

The two Mr. Green’s seem to like each other. They are always together!

The puppies eat wherever they want to now. It’s part of growing up.

These dishes are empty before you know it!

New Big Dog Collars! We Get to Go Outside!

by Margaret on September 24, 2012

This is Mr. Yellow after he got his new collar. He looks like a sleeping lion.

The weather was warm enough to let all the puppies go outside to play!

Sammy Sweetheart was checking the puppies constantly.

She and Gracie were also watching them from the rock wall.

Can you find your puppy?

The fresh air and the new play area was so exciting! All the puppies took a snooze under the umbrella and next to the rock wall. We placed the new area next to this rock wall so the big dogs can jump in to play with the puppies and jump out when they are done.

We added their new “Big Dog” collars in the same colors they have been wearing.

All the puppies are getting “intensive puppy information” from the big dogs.

Sammy Sweetheart likes to teach the puppies respect and

Gracie Clementine likes to run around and play!

You never know when these skills will come in handy

at the dog park or a birthday party…….

Kayla is “Equal Opportunity”. She fed her puppies and some of Francie’s puppies. Our Labradors are so maternal. They can’t help themselves. All of these puppies end up with five moms! Each big dog has something special to give. They send each puppy to their new homes with a strong foundation.

Puppies Love Their New Digs

by Margaret on September 18, 2012

Puppies get to play and figure out who they all are. There was a stuffed animal that had ALL of their attention.

Mr. Yellow found the stuffed duck!

Mr. Red liked the duck too!

Mr. Blue checked the duck also. It had a noise maker inside and they were all curious. He liked that rope toy and was trying to flip it around.

Ms. Pink found this Lacrosse ball very easy to push around.
