Rocky has been getting a LOT of attention from all of A Family Farm.
It’s not always easy having puppies and
we were very grateful for Dr. Rachel Ammirata being there.
She was checking Bella and made sure Rocky came out healthy.
While Bella was busy, Rocky stayed close to her, drinking lots of her milk.
Bella is an amazing mom. She is constantly cleaning and kissing him.
She also likes to clean out his food dish if he leaves anything behind
.
My daughter and granddaughter came to trim Rocky’s nails and give him some loving.
Bella made a nice pillow for my granddaughter to cuddle while she held Rocky.
Another granddaughter gave Rocky his afternoon bottle.
He was eating every 3 to 4 hours. Even during the night!!
My son gave him one of his first bottles.
My granddaughter was able to give him a bottle while Bella cleaned up the milk all over his face.
He was so small, but look how much he has grown now.
At 5 weeks, he is almost 6 pounds and is now eating puppy food.
Bella and I slept in the room with Rocky so we would not miss a feeding.
Rocky was very animated every time he was drinking.
I think Rocky has given us all more than we could have ever imagined.
We know his Forever Family is getting a Sweet, very content and confident Labrador. We will miss him.
Even waking up at all hours of the night and getting very little sleep,
this has been the BEST experience for me!
