Puppies Love Their New Digs

Puppies get to play and figure out who they all are. There was a stuffed animal that had ALL of their attention.

Mr. Yellow found the stuffed duck!

Mr. Red liked the duck too!

Mr. Blue checked the duck also. It had a noise maker inside and they were all curious. He liked that rope toy and was trying to flip it around.

Ms. Pink found this Lacrosse ball very easy to push around.

Francie and Kayla’s Pups Are 4 Weeks Old

There is sooooooo much happening here at A Family Farm!

All of our puppies have met their official new families! Please check our Facebook page for TONS of photos!

All the puppies checked every inch of their new place!

We have moved all 11 puppies OUT of our bedroom and INTO our kitchen where they can all play together! The puppies get exposed to all the household noises so they feel comfortable when they go to their new homes.

The puppies pile up inside the crate. They can watch all the big dogs and even catch a little tv with us!

We put a blanket over the back end of the crate to keep the puppies out of a draft.

Sammy and Gracie eat their dinner while the puppies watch.

They have all started eating food!

They all LOVED the food! It is baby cereal and cottage cheese. Yummy!

Two large pans work! They dive into the food!

Mr. Green stayed in the dish to the very end!

Mr. Blue and Mr. Red fell asleep in one of the empty dishes!

They have figured out that they only sleep inside the crate and do everything else, outside of the crate. We have very smart puppies here!

Outside Together! 9-12-12

Both litters went outside on the porch today.

Francie’s Ms. Pink, Ms. Orange and Mr. Green

of water to drink/swim in!

Francie and Kayla kept checking their pups from inside and outside the temporary area we set up.

Mr. Green loves the water!

We keep seeing our puppies doing cute things, so we keep taking photos.

Mr. Green and Mr. Blue figured out the water dish today!

We were outside on the porch and it was hot!

Sammy Sweetheart and Gracie Clementine have been consistently making themselves comfortable with their little brothers and sisters.

It’s a very good thing all these puppies have homes!

Every day they get cuter and more loveable!

We are loving up each one with lots of kisses and sweet talk.

Our puppies are born in our room and we keep a close eye on them for several weeks.

We both keep flashlights nearby during the night.

Kayla’s Babysitters

We knew they wanted to help!

Sammy Sweetheart and Gracie Clementine, our young females, got some quality time with the puppies.

Sammy Sweetheart had all the puppies run to her when they saw her. She got busy kissing and cleaning! Kayla was unaware that all this was happening while she was outside. When the puppies get a few weeks older Kayla and Francie will be happy to let their “Babysitters” take over!

Ms. Pink was happy to see the big dogs come for a visit!

what comes naturally to them. The Labradors are so maternal!

Gracie Clementine just climbed in and made herself comfortable.

Kayla’s Pups 9-6-12

We started out taking pictures of all six puppies, but little Mr. Green woke up!

Can you see Mr. Green? This would make a great puzzle!

It gets really loud sometimes.

Kayla likes to give her puppies old stuffed animals to cuddle with.

This one matches the puppies’ color.

He can see us and is squeaking and barking like all 11 puppies are!

I love those little feet.

Francie’s Pups On The Move

Francie’s pups are getting pretty rowdy! Mr. Green is easy to see.

Somebody else is quietly watching.

This afternoon it was mostly Ms. Pink and Mr. Green. Ms. Pink made it up onto the edge of the whelping box and was peeking out. Now when we get really close to her face she gives us kisses!

With the colored necklaces we can see who’s barking, howling or trying to get out of the box.

You can see how busy they were.

Are you looking at me? Cuz I can see you now!

There she goes! Ms. Pink is too smart!

As soon as we come into the room they get up and head towards us!

Happy Two Weeks to Francie and Kayla’s Pups

We are having so much fun with all of the puppies. This morning all of Francie’s puppies came to me when I was checking on them.

Their eyes are open and they see us now. This is THE BEST!

Kayla’s pups are all cruising and barking and squealing.

They do something that sounds like a purr which is so funny.

We had to block the puppies with cushions all around to keep them together.

They move so fast!

We have all the colored necklaces on both litters now.

We will be watching the progress of each puppy. Francie’s boys are blue and green. The girls are orange and two different shades of pink.

Some of their eyes are opening!

All of the puppies from both litters have homes. We are so pleased with all of the new families.

Francie Pants and her pups just a few minutes ago. They are growing so fast!

Both of these moms are so dedicated. They are constantly feeding and cleaning.

Kayla Copacabana and her crew. The sound effects are so funny!

They squeal and bark while they are drinking.

As you can see, they are also moving around all the time.
