Jeannie Bit O’Violet delivered 8 puppies yesterday.
Jeannie had 4 boys and 4 girls and all have homes waiting for them.

Jeannie tried short naps in between pups being born.
It is an important job to get ALL the pups drinking from Jeannie.
That first milk has all the good stuff they need in it.
Jess and John deliver another puppy while Lily watches with curiosity.
Lily is Jeannie’s daughter from last year.
She was allowed to check on the first puppy under the guidance of Jess.
The first born puppy gets a drink from Jeannie while we wait for the next one.

The box has a warm towel inside and keeps the puppies warm
while Jeannie gets ready to have more.
Lily gets to sleep on the “Princess” bed next to the whelping box
full of new puppies and her mom.
She thinks this is pretty darn good!
Puppy eyes are closed tight, but they can find mommy for warmth and milk.
Jeannie is an incredible mom and we will keep watching as her puppies grow.
